Quando sale la tensione, l’ansia, quando il disordine si fa eccessivo e ristagna l’odore di cucina, quando casa significa un’infinita inchiesta, una lunga accusa, una lotta. Mentre dovrebbe essere, almeno quello, il posto dove deporre le armi, togliere le scarpe e allentare i bottoni. Dove gli scontri non fanno mai troppo male, dove c’è sempre qualcuno con cui scambiare due parole, magari due parole buone o un abbraccio. Dove c’è una luce calda e qualcosa di buono da mangiare, senza doverlo estrarre dal freezer. Dove il profumo è quello di torta e non di arbre magique, o di chiuso, o di candeggina. Dove la televisione tace spesso e non zittisce nessuno, dove c’è musica ma anche il suono delle parole. Dove c’è una mamma, o una nonna o un fratello con cui litigare prima di fare i compiti. Se casa non è questo, potrebbe non essere un posto molto piacevole dove tornare: piuttosto meglio stare fuori, in strada, nei bar o appesi sui motorini anche se fa freddo, fino a notte. Oppure passare da un corso di nuoto a quello di chitarra, dallo judo all’inglese, qualunque cosa, pur di non ritornare in una casa vuota.
